Activities

Output 1: State Institutions, Political Parties supported to design and implement laws & guidelines.

1.1. Provide technical/professional support to selected state institutions to implement anti-corruption reform.
1.2. Make efforts to incorporate anti-corruption/ethics content in Parties' constitutions, policies, management and manifestos.
1.3 Campaign against nominating candidates involved in financial irregularities and corruption.

Output 2: Anti - corruption coalition and networks consolidated.

2.1. Form alliance with print media for information dissemination.
2.2. Form a multilateral coalition involving the state and civil society institutions.
2.3. Share national and international experiences.|
2.4. Organize and participate in interactions on contemporary issues.
2.5. Implement integrity pledges in selected local level bodies.
2.6. Establish Support groups in major cities

Output 3: Public education against corruption carried out.

3.1. Carryout media campaign through audio-visuals and publications.
3.2. Organize lectures, seminars & discussions in colleges, university and other selected organizations.
3.3. Pursue integration of transparency values in moral education for school children.
3.4. Disseminate research/study/survey results.

Output 4: Relevant research and studies carried out.

4.1. Promote investigative journalism.
4.2. Carryout studies on corruption related laws in their letter of spirit and implementation.
4.3. Promote research and studies on corruption issues.
4.4. Carryout specific case studies of Public Institutions.
4.5. Set up information knowledge center.

Output 5: Increased donor transparency pursued.

5.1. Pursue the implementation of IP in donor projects.
5.2. Encourage donors to adopt a transparent audit system.
5.3. Promote study of donor/NGO/govt. transaction procedures and recommend specific measures for transparency.

Output 6: Institutional capacity of TI Nepal strengthened.

6.1. Establish fund for sustainability
6.2. Assign responsibilities with TOR to volunteers in TIN activities.
6.3. Hire issue based expertise to assist.
6.4. Develop needed human resources and enhance their capacity.
