TI Nepal organized a “Interaction and Grievance Collection Program” in Madhyapur Thimi Nagarpalika premises related to post earthquake reconstruction and rehabilitation on 11th July 2017. During the Interaction, Municipality Engineer Ms. Supriya Pyakurel explained the earthquake victims about 3 step procedure for housing grant. Various queries on reconstruction, housing grant, banking procedure were addressed by Chief of DLPIU Education and Engineers along with TIN representatives.
In the ‘Grievance Collection Program’ around 124 grievances were collected from public related to delay in second tranche of installment, landless issues, missing names and delay in grievance redressal by government. All the grievances collected in the program were categorized and forwarded to concerned authorities. Altogether TI Nepal sent 5 letters to different authorities, Madhyapur Thimi Nagarpalika, Ward Office-6, Nepal Rastra Bank Central Office, NRA Bhaktapur, to draw the attention on different topics raised by earthquake victims.
