‘Integrity in Post Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation’ (IPERR) program Progress Review Meeting commenced in Kathmandu on 17th and 18th of March 2017.  The meeting reviewed IPERR work progress in 14 districts and discussed reconstruction activities initiated by GON, NRA and various NGOs/INGOs at the district level. IPERRR District Officers presented their work and reconstruction activities taking place in their respective districts. Government officials from NRA, Hello Sarkar, MOFALD, CLPIUs and Ministry of Urban Development joined the program and shared their respective work and challenges. Considering many issues tied up in reconstruction, TI Nepal President Shree Hari Aryal, asked for better coordination among stakeholders to address the challenges.


On the second day, the IPEER District activity timeline was discussed. Experiences were shared about activities executed and some challenges faced. Future actions were discussed and agreed upon. Finally the review ended on a positive note with the commitment of the IPERR team to continue the watch-dog role of TI Nepal rigorously.
