Transparency International Nepal (TIN) – Call for a Concept Note

Transparency International Nepal (TIN) under its ‘Climate Governance integrity’ project, supported by The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMU), requests for a concept Note for consultancy service to conduct a research on “The fate of Himalayan glacier; the implication of climate change’. According to recent reports, the impact of climate change in the Himalayan region and rapid glacier melting poses a threat to mountains, rivers, biodiversity, energy, health, food etc. Proposed study will examine the future implication of climate change in the Himalayan region and suggest measures to adapt and mitigate the changes. Interested individual(s) or firm(s) to conduct the study is/are requested to email a letter of interest with the concept note containing following details to by July 25, 2021.

  1. The concept note (max 8 pages) with a short write up of the context, issues, research methodology, work plan, timeline, team composition and budget.
  2. The maximum budget ceiling is NPR 2,50,000/- (Tax inclusive)
  3. Annex:
    • Short reference list indicating the scope and magnitude of similar assignments.
    • Firm should have a valid registration /VAT number and individual with a PAN number.

This notice should suffice for the submission of the Concept Note. No separate ToR is available.
