Recent Projects

In addition to policy advocacy, time-bound projects are implemented by TI Nepal with the support of the donor community to contribute to transparency, accountability and integrity. Some of the most recent projects are as follows:

Integrity in Post-Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation (IPERR)

This project was implemented by TI Nepal, funded by the European Union (EU), so as to build integrity in the reconstruction works after the devastating Gorkha earthquake. The project was implemented from 2016 to April 2021.

Open Contracting for Health (OC4H)

TI Nepal implemented OC4H from 2018 to June 2021 to ensure efficiency and transparency in the health sector public procurement. It was a multi-country program in funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and Transparency International.

Climate Integrity (CGI)

The Climate Governance Integrity (CGI) project started in 2016 aims to improve the overall standard of Climate governance. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMU) through Transparency International. It ends on December 2021.

Together for Social Accountability and Integrity (T-SAI)

TI Nepal initiated T-SAI, a three-year project funded by Transparency International, in 2020. The project encourages people, including women and vulnerable groups, to actively engage in anti-corruption and use social accountability mechanisms to reduce opportunities for corrupt acts to remain unsanctioned.
