TIN has repeatedly been using conventional measures to fight corruption with activities ranging from research, advocacy, public engagement, coalition building, campaigning, mobilizing people etc. However, this year TIN adopted creative approaches for its advocacy work, where fine arts was used as a tool to highlight corruption. TIN collaborated with pioneering institutions like Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Sarwanam Natya Samuha to bring alive the ill effects of corruption through painting, calendar and drama.  An Art Workshop at NAFA and ‘Bhiksamdehi’ drama at Sarwanam, during TIN establishment day, further enhanced a sense of righteousness among people. Realizing the reach of various forms of art, a cartoon calendar and a story book is currently being pursued. This creative approach has proved to be more appealing and sustainable than the orthodox approach.
